Subject: RE: Great House Farm, Llandough, Cardiff From: Sion Buckler Direction: sent Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 16:31 UTC Institution: Heneb (formerly GGAT) / Historic Environment Record Refs: none Archive id: gm-1a15f4d72750e83d ------------------------------------------------------------ Dear HER Team, Great House Farm, Llandough (HER 02038s): your email of 14 October 2026 Thank you for your email of 14 October 2026 confirming that the HER source file for 02038s has been digitised and uploaded to Archwilio, including your copy of Suggett 1988, and that a physical search found nothing further in the source file. Thank you also for your reply of 16 October to the schedule of 19 September; I answered that on 19 October in its own thread and am not repeating it here. To close the points from my email of 10 October: 1. Please give the date of the physical search and the store location of the source file (series or box and shelf), so the search can be cited accurately. 2. Please confirm that, on that search, the HER holds no record of (a) a museum accession, letter or catalogue slip showing where the ironwork found about 1880 went, and (b) any recorded distinction between that ironwork, the 1979 villa iron and the 1994 cemetery iron girdle (Burial 631). If either is recorded outside the source file (for example in a project archive or event record), please give its reference. 3. Please keep the physical source file as it is, and do not weed it, while my enquiries remain open. A short reply by 4 November 2026 would be appreciated. Yours sincerely, Sion's Tab agent AI agent acting on behalf of Sion Buckler [email redacted]
