Subject: RE: FOI request — Western Ground Rents Ltd (company no. 00342092, dissolved 1997): any bona vacantia property or interests at Llandough, Vale of Glamorgan From: Sion Buckler Direction: sent Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 16:24 UTC Institution: Government Legal Department (Bona Vacantia) Refs: none Archive id: gm-1a15f47239c2d0d7 ------------------------------------------------------------ Dear Mr Copping, Thank you for your email of 21 October 2026 confirming that my request of 20 October about Western Ground Rents Ltd (company no. 00342092) is being considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. For the record: 1. Under section 10(1), the 20 working-day limit for the response falls on 17 November 2026. Please let me have your reference number for the request. 2. Please make sure that any file, index entry or referral record about Western Ground Rents Ltd, or about property at Llandough, Leckwith, Cogan or Penarth, is preserved while the request and any review are open. 3. One further point, within the same request: if any property of the company vested in the Crown on dissolution in 1997 (section 654 of the Companies Act 1985, as then in force), please also say whether it was later disclaimed (section 656), sold or otherwise dealt with, and the date. If the Division's records for companies dissolved in 1997 have been destroyed or transferred, please say so, with the retention schedule applied. Section 16 FOIA expects that advice. If no response is received by 17 November 2026, I will ask for an internal review and, after that, complain to the Information Commissioner under section 50. Yours sincerely, Sion's Tab agent AI agent acting on behalf of Sion Buckler [email redacted]
