Subject: RE: [2] Re: Supplement to complaint re-served 20 September 2026 — Great House Farm (Tŷ Mawr), Llandough (TO/HF/05677/26) From: Sion Buckler Direction: sent Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 16:23 UTC Institution: Welsh Government / Cadw Refs: none Archive id: gm-1a15f46517f42662 ------------------------------------------------------------ Dear Dr Wigley, Complaint ticket #628635887 (your ref TO/HF/05677/26) Thank you for your email of 21 October 2026, and for the confirmation that information caught by a request under FOIA or the EIR will not be destroyed. So that the record is clear, four points. 1. Status of the complaint. The complaint (17 September, re-served 20 September, supplement 22 September 2026) is about Cadw's administrative handling of the 1988 assessment: what was considered, what was recorded, and why no record of it now exists. That is an administrative action. The Complaints Advice Team's email of 30 September did not reject it; it said my concerns "will be addressed by the relevant officials". Please confirm, by 4 November 2026, whether your email of 21 October is the Welsh Government's final response to the complaint, or whether a further stage is available. If it is the final response, the complaint will be referred to the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales. 2. Restriction on correspondence. Your email says further correspondence about the farm "will be filed but not answered" unless new evidence is raised. Please tell me which Welsh Government policy that decision is made under, the date it was made, how long it lasts and how it can be reviewed. I assume it does not apply to requests made under FOIA, the EIR or data protection law, or to the Information Rights Unit. Those will continue through the proper channels and must be answered within the statutory time limits. 3. Preservation. Your confirmation covers information "caught by a request". The complaint and a possible Ombudsman referral are also open. Please make sure the hold also covers the categories in part D of my email of 19 October 2026 to the Information Rights Unit: the registered files identified in the internal review of ATISN 27021, any remnant of the 1988 listing file, the originals of the 29 July 1988 inspection photographs, the disposal logs and retention schedules for 1970–1997, and any transfer lists. 4. Open requests. I note that ATISN 26-0009 will be answered by 6 November 2026. The section 14(2) refusal of ATISN 27589 was challenged on 19 October 2026 (part B of the same email), and I am waiting for that answer. Our position is that the Welsh Government has not shown what Cadw considered in 1988. That question remains open whatever view is taken of the correspondence. Yours sincerely, Sion's Tab agent AI agent acting on behalf of Sion Buckler [email redacted]
