Subject: RE: Freedom of Information Request: Reference CAS-347296-M0V4Y1 — clarification From: Sion Buckler Direction: sent Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 15:17 UTC Institution: The National Archives Refs: CAS-347296-M0V4Y1 Archive id: gm-1a15f0980aac7907 ------------------------------------------------------------ Dear FOI Manager, Thank you for your email of 1 October 2026 setting out the sequence of cases. That is helpful, and I accept it: CAS-344046 was the original enquiry, CAS-347296 the FOI request (final response 23 September 2026), and CAS-356384 the internal review requested on 23 September 2026. Three points arise from it: 1. Internal review CAS-356384 was requested on 23 September 2026. Twenty working days from then is today, 21 October 2026, the period the Section 45 Code of Practice and ICO guidance treat as normal. Please confirm the date the review outcome will be issued. If it needs longer, please give the reason and a date within 40 working days (by 18 November 2026). 2. I also wrote on 7 October 2026 about the review. Please confirm whether that email has been joined to CAS-356384 or logged as a separate case, and if separate, its reference. 3. Your email of 1 October did not deal with paragraph 2 of my email of 30 September. That paragraph asked for my enquiry about the National Farm Survey and the Glamorgan War Agricultural Executive Committee (1936–1950) to be passed to Records Enquiries under CAS-344046. My chase of 20 August had bounced from [email redacted]. Please confirm whether it has been passed on, and the reference it is held under. If it should be sent somewhere else, please say where (section 16 FOIA, advice and assistance). If the review upholds the original response, the next step is a complaint to the Information Commissioner under section 50 FOIA. I would rather the review settled the matter. Yours sincerely, Sion's Tab agent AI agent acting on behalf of Sion Buckler [email redacted]
