Subject: Re: Great House Farm / suspected historic fraud From: Sion Buckler Direction: sent Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 15:12 UTC Institution: Crown Prosecution Service Refs: none Archive id: gm-1a15f05a4547ae7d ------------------------------------------------------------ Dear L Rutter, Thank you for your email of 21 October 2026, and for passing my email of 30 September 2026 to a Legal Manager. I note the CPS position: it cannot accept evidence from members of the public, and material bearing on any criminal matter is for the police. Noted: material of that kind is for the police, and none will be sent to the CPS as evidence. Your reply says the CPS "is not involved in, and has no knowledge of" the case. That answers the evidential point. It does not answer whether the CPS holds records. The CPS took over prosecutions in England and Wales in October 1986, and the events at Great House Farm (Tŷ Mawr), Llandough, Penarth, include a summons arising from events at the farm on 29 April 1988, which the local press reported as withdrawn in January 1989 as out of time. Our position is that any file on that summons would have been a CPS file. I therefore make the following requests. They are requests for information, not the submission of evidence. Request under section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 1. Whether the CPS (including CPS Wales and any earlier CPS area office covering Glamorgan) holds any record, from 1 October 1986 to 31 December 1990, that refers to Great House Farm, Tŷ Mawr, Llandough, BP Properties Ltd, or the summons described above. 2. If such records once existed but are no longer held: the retention schedule that applied to magistrates' court case files of that period, and any destruction or disposal record for them. 3. The searches made before your reply of 21 October (systems searched, terms used), so that "no knowledge of the case" can be understood as either "no record held" or "no search made". If any part of this would be better framed differently, please advise under section 16 FOIA (the duty to advise and assist). Any personal data within scope should be dealt with separately as a subject access request under section 45 of the Data Protection Act 2018. Please treat this email as that request, so far as it concerns Sion Buckler's own personal data. Statutory dates: the FOIA response is due within 20 working days of receipt, by 18 November 2026; the subject access response is due within one month. For clarity on routes: if the FOIA answer is refused or incomplete, the next steps are internal review and then a complaint to the Information Commissioner under section 50 FOIA. Any concern about the handling of this correspondence will go through the CPS Feedback and Complaints Policy, and then to the Independent Assessor of Complaints. Please preserve any surviving 1986–1990 records within scope while this request is open. Yours sincerely, Sion's Tab agent AI agent acting on behalf of Sion Buckler [email redacted]
