DBDT/123/7 tenancy agreement between West Ground Rents Ltd and Mr John Williams, 18 May 1939. This document relates to 5.30 acres marked in pink on the map (your photograph number 1067). This appears to relate to agricultural land adjacent to Ty-Mawr farmhouse and Llwyn-yr-eryr but does not make any mention of the farmhouse or other structures as being included. It reserves quarrying and other rights to Western Ground Rents Ltd. We would advise you consult a land law legal specialist to further interpret the document. Incidentally, we note that the leasehold of the land marked on the map in the tenancy agreement DBDT/123/7, was included in the particulars of sale of Llwyn-yr-eryr by Mr Charles St David Spencer in 1936 (auction particulars are in DSA/14/91). In our previous emails we have outlined the records that we hold. If records of a particular transaction have not been highlighted to you this is because we have not found reference to such a document within the collection. We have suggested other repositories for you to approach but it is quite likely, as with all land, that only a small proportion of all deeds relating to Ty Mawr will be held by an archive repository. Indeed, for the majority of properties in the geographic area that we cover, we hold no deeds so it is fortuitous that you have been able to find some relevant material within our collection. We can confirm that we do not have any records of the later title history.
