Thank you for the catalogue leads (Glamorgan XLVII; Penarth, IR 58) for Great House Farm / Tŷ Mawr, Llandough-juxta-Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan. To keep things simple, I have put everything I need from The National Archives into this one email. If any part is better dealt with by your FOI team, I would be grateful if you could pass it on.

1. Item references and locations

My follow-up of 16 October 2026 (sent to [email redacted], re CAS-359317-Q8Q4R9) asks for the exact item references, store locations and physical-check status of the Glamorgan XLVII.6 field book, plan and index. That request stands and I am not repeating it here; please link this email to it.

2. IR 58 and the modern titles

The land is now registered at HM Land Registry under titles WA231076, WA240304, WA513690 and WA735527. I would like to know which IR 58 entries correspond to those parcels.

3. Other records

Please tell me:
(a) whether you hold any record of the 1986-87 proceedings (BP Properties Ltd v Buckler) or of the possession order enforced in November 1988;
(b) whether you hold anything relating to Great House, Llandough, that would help distinguish it from Great House, Bonvilston (the National Monuments Record of Wales has identified its archive 6364275 as relating to Bonvilston).

4. Western Ground Rents Ltd - company file and copy quotation

Western Ground Rents Ltd (company no. 00342092, incorporated 1938, dissolved 1997) should have a Board of Trade company file in the BT 31 series. I believe the reference is BT 31/87651 (parts /1 to /7), but I have not been able to confirm it in Discovery. Please could you:
(a) confirm the correct BT 31 reference(s) for this company, or tell me if no file survives or the file is held elsewhere;
(b) give a quotation, or a page count for each part, so that I can choose which to order first.
I am particularly interested in any annual returns, accounts, schedules of property or correspondence from 1955 to 1982 that refer to land at Llandough, near Penarth (Great House Farm / Tŷ Mawr), and the company's disposals to British Petroleum Pension Trust Ltd in or around December 1969.

Where the Freedom of Information Act 2000 applies, please reply within 20 working days (by 16 November 2026). If anything is reported as not held, please say which systems were searched and whether physical retrieval was attempted.
