Dear Freedom of Information Officer,

I am researching the 1989 planning application for the development
subsequently known as Church View Close, Llandough-juxta-Penarth.

The planning officer's report records that representations were received
from the *Barry Preservation Society* and the *Civic Trust*, but the report
does not reproduce the substance of those representations.

Please provide copies of all records held by the Council relating to the
representation made by the *Barry Preservation Society* in connection with
that planning application, including:

   1. The original letter, objection or representation submitted by the
   Barry Preservation Society.
   2. Any covering letter, acknowledgement or correspondence concerning its
   submission.
   3. Any internal Council correspondence referring to or summarising the
   Society's representations.
   4. Any plans, photographs or supporting material submitted by the
   Society.
   5. Any correspondence concerning the *retention, preservation,
   alteration or demolition of Great House Farm farmhouse*.
   6. Any subsequent correspondence between the Council and the Barry
   Preservation Society concerning Great House Farm or the development.

I am particularly seeking the Society's *original 1989 comments about Great
House Farm farmhouse*, rather than a later summary of them.

The organisation is referred to in later Vale of Glamorgan Council records
as the *Barry Preservation Society*, including its participation in the
Council's Conservation Area Advisory Group. It also appears in historical
publications as the *Barry Preservation Society and Civic Trust*.

If the original representation is no longer held, please state that
explicitly and provide any surviving reference, file number, minute,
extract or other record that identifies what was submitted and when.

Please search the complete planning file and associated correspondence
rather than relying solely on the published officer report.
