Subject: Great House Farm, Llandough From: Sion Buckler Direction: sent Date: Thu, 25 Jun 2026 20:57 UTC Institution: Vale of Glamorgan Council Refs: none Archive id: gm-19f00928c04bfc52 ------------------------------------------------------------ George, Have you had an opportunity to look into any of the concerns I have raised with you regarding my family's dispossession from land at Llandough? Might we be able to achieve even the smallest task together in trying to unravel what I allege may have involved fraud, concealment, mistakes, or other wrongdoing surrounding my family's loss of possession of land there? It is land that my family claimed to own, and that claim has never, to my knowledge, been extinguished or determined against us by a court. The possibility of errors relating to my grandmother's and father's deaths, court mistakes, Land Registry mistakes, the dismissal of my father's appeal against the 1987 ruling, the rejection of the ECHR application, and Cadw's inaction do not alter the central point: my family's claim to ownership of the land itself has never been properly adjudicated upon or defeated. I may even have an interest in Church View Close. I am raising concerns about what could amount to a major scandal in the manner in which my family and I were dispossessed of land there. Your lack of response, together with a number of unusual or contradictory responses I have received from other parties connected with the matter, has not reassured me that there is a willingness to examine these issues openly. If evidence was destroyed, if mistakes were made, or if fraud or concealment occurred, I am sure you would prefer to assist in establishing the truth rather than be perceived as defending or perpetuating any wrongdoing. Would you at least be willing to help with the more limited task of identifying when the tree planted by my family was removed? From what I can gather, the tree planting commemorated our claim to absolute title over our plot of land. Its removal could arguably represent the destruction of evidence connected with that claim.
