based on the information you provided, I couldn't find any relevant materials among the documents held at Cardiff Central Library. I searched for Great Farm House, Llandough, and Daniel Thomas, but found no matches with your query. I'm afraid last name Williams is too popular to conduct any research without further details - first names, titles, etc.

You mention that some files are "referenced in quarry deal histories" - would you be able to send us the exact references? They could possibly include a document/manuscript number that could help locating any materials in question.
