Sirs/ Ma'am,

I'm writing to flag a historical concern relating to conveyancing and land
registration practice.

A land title was registered in the BP vs Buckler case, by BP in 1982,
despite unresolved competing claims and absence of a final judicial
determination, and that registration was later treated as conclusive by
courts and authorities.

I am not seeking advice or action. I am writing only to ask whether this
type of scenario is of interest from a professional standards or historical
practice perspective.
